SAMSUNG TV VOLUME NOT WORKING
With new features being added all the time, it can be difficult to pinpoint what is causing our Samsung TV’s volume to become stuck. I hope the video above on how to fix a stuck Samsung TV volume was useful. If the tips in the video didn’t get your TV volume unstuck, keep reading because I’ll add a few more methods.
In general, Samsung TV volume is caused by apps running in the background or by too many apps using up the TV’s memory, resulting in poor performance. You can improve your TV’s performance by turning off AUTORUN Smart HUB or free up memory on your TV by deleting unused apps.

1. Turn off Smart HUB Autorun in Your Samsung TV
The Smart Hub appears to be causing the volume to become stuck on some Samsung TV models. To prevent the volume from becoming stuck, try turning off the AUTORUN Smart HUB by going to general settings -> smart features -> turn off AUTORUN Smart HUB.
2. Rest the Smart Hub on your Samsung TV
If this autorun does not exist, look for a way to reset the Samsung TV’s Smart HUB and see if that works.
3. Delete Unused Apps in Your Samsung TV
If turning off running Smart Hub automatically or resetting it didn’t work, try to delete unused Apps in your Samsung TV. Sometimes we add many apps and forget that the TV has limited storage. Restart your Samsung TV to see if the volume is still stuck.
4. Reset Your Samsung TV Sound
If that doesn’t work, you can either reset the television as described in the section “Samsung Volume Display Stuck on Screen” or reset the volume internally.
To do so, go to Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Reset Sound > Reset > then Reset to clear all sound settings. One of these solutions should get your volume back up and running and prevent it from freezing up again.
HOW DO I UNLOCK THE VOLUME CONTROL ON MY SAMSUNG TV?
1. Samsung TV Volume Stuck
A Samsung TV has so many different settings that it can be difficult to keep track of them all. These are fantastic TVs for smart apps because they have an easy interface and screens that break the traditional TV barrier.
However, when the volume control on your Samsung TV becomes stuck, you begin to appreciate how good the TV is and wonder how difficult it is to create a product that works as it should.
To unlock the volume control on your Samsung TV, you must first reset the pin/code to 0000. To do so, press the power button, then mute the television, then press the numbers 8-2-4, and finally press the POWER button again. This should return the television to its factory settings, after which you can access the menu and disable the V-chip/Parental lock.

2. Samsung TV Keep Turning Volume Up
If you’re sitting in front of your Samsung TV with your hands in your lap and the remote out of reach of your fingers, but the volume is gradually increasing, you’ve got a problem. This is an issue that many Samsung TV owners have encountered, and it is one that frequently appears on the front pages of question queries with little to no feedback. This, however, is your solution.
If you notice your Samsung TV increasing the volume without your permission, you must first locate the Intelligent Mode Settings. These settings control the sound based on the noise in the room as well as other factors and should be disabled to prevent them from acting independently. Go to General Intelligent Mode Settings and turn the settings off.
3. Samsung TV Keep Turning Down
Aside from your Samsung TV constantly increasing without your intervention, users have also reported problems with the sound decreasing on its own. This problem can be solved by the solution listed above under “Samsung TV Volume Keep Turning Up,” but there is another trick you can try to get your volume to behave properly. To keep the volume on your Samsung TV from dropping, try one or both of these.
To prevent your Samsung TV from turning off on its own, first locate the settings menu on your TV. Once you’ve located the settings, navigate to sound, then to expert settings. Change the Bitstream to PCM in the HDMI Input Audio Format section of the expert settings. In short, go to Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > HDMI Input Audio Format > and change the Bitstream to PCM.
4. Samsung TV Has No Sound
Aside from the problems associated with your Samsung TV’s volume being too high or too low, you may be experiencing a volume issue that includes no sound at all coming from your device.
This issue may cause many Samsung TV owners to turn their devices on and off in the hope that this will resolve the problem. This may cause the volume to return, but you may need to do a little more to get it back up.
If your Samsung TV isn’t making any sound, you’ll need to perform a ‘Self Diagnosis’ to figure out what’s wrong. Select ‘Menu’ from the remote, then ‘Support,’ then ‘Self Diagnosis,’ and finally ‘Sound Test.’ If you hear a sound that comes from your TV’s speakers, the problem is most likely originating from the soundbar or other attached speakers.
HOW TO FIX VOLUME ON A SAMSUNG TV?
There are a few different options for a more general fix to the problems you are experiencing with your Samsung TV that will hopefully get your TV back in working order. The first suggestion for resolving the volume issue is to simply unplug your Samsung TV from the power source in your wall. Allow at least a minute before attempting to re-plug it in, and this may be your volume solution.
If this does not work, use your Samsung TV remote to navigate to the menu. Select Sound, then Additional Settings/Speaker Settings, and then Auto Volume to Normal (Sound > Additional Settings/Speaker Settings > Auto Volume > Normal). This may help to stabilize your volume and restore it to normal operation.
HOW TO ADJUST VOLUME ON SAMSUNG TV WITHOUT REMOTE?
If you’ve been looking for your remote but haven’t found it yet, the volume may need to be turned down. Is it even possible to adjust the volume without the remote, and if so, how do you do it? Samsung TVs all have a controller on the TV that allows you to turn the TV on, change the channel, change the HDMI, and, yes, adjust the volume.
To adjust the volume on your Samsung TV without using the remote, look for the Jog control, which is located on the back or bottom right side of the TV. It’s small, but you can see the buttons that are labeled with their various functions. Simply press the increase or decrease button on the jog stick to adjust the volume on your Samsung TV without the use of a remote.
SAMSUNG TV ENABLE/DISABLE VOLUME NOT AVAILABLE
Samsung TVs are technologically advanced, which is one of the main reasons why so many consumers prefer this brand over others. However, with as much smart technology as it contains, there may be times when users become a little overwhelmed with the functions of the television and begin to feel a little lost – particularly when it comes to enabling/disabling the volume on their television.
If you believe that the enable/disable volume setting is not available on your Samsung TV, it is most likely that you haven’t found it yet or are looking for the wrong label. To find the setting to disable or enable the sound on your Samsung TV, go to Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Sound Feedback > and then adjust the sound as desired.
Volume issues with Samsung televisions are a common problem for many people. Sometimes the volume is not working, and other times the sound is distorted or not working at all. Samsung has provided some troubleshooting steps for TV users to try in order to resolve Samsung TV volume stuck issues.
To resolve volume issues, first ensure that there is a connection between the TV’s optical cable and receiver and another device, such as an amplifier or another Samsung TV; if that doesn’t work, try swapping HDMI cables between the devices until you find one that does.
