Xfinity Remote Codes: Easy Complete Guide [XR11 Remote]
I fell in love with the Xfinity X1 interface and the platform’s streaming services. Setting it all up and programming the Remotes, on the other hand, was no easy task.
I had no idea what the remote codes meant or how to put it all together. I went online to figure out what the remote codes were, what they meant, and how to get it working.
I learned a lot about the other Xfinity Remotes along the way, and I decided to compile everything I learned into this one-stop reference guide.
When pairing your Xfinity Remote with your TV or audio device, you must enter Xfinity Remote Codes. It uses an infrared blaster to send commands to the TV. These instructions follow patterns identified by Remote Codes.
I’ve also included Remote Codes for older Xfinity Remotes such as the XR15, XR11, XR5, and XR2. I’ve also included a section on Factory Resetting your Xfinity Remote in case something goes wrong and you have to start over.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can Cox remote be attributed as universal?
Other Cox Contour services are already supported by the Cox remote. This allows you to use the remote to control DVR/Blu-ray players, TVs, audio systems, and VCRs.
My Cox remote suddenly stopped turning off my TV set?
When you notice this, be deliberate about it by pointing the remote directly to the receiver and tapping once on the TV button and once on the power button. If it is unable to control the volume, it is possible that the remote has not yet been paired. Furthermore, the volume lock is set to the TV.
Is there a way to check if any Cox Remote serves as Universal Remote?
The truth is that some TV remote controls are already designed to be universal. This allows it to easily control a device other than the television set. However, if you want to know if your remote is universal, first check to see if it has a MODE and SET button. This indicates that it is a universal remote.
